Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Tarica Homchand received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies from CUNY Hunter College. She then trained at New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors in Oral Pathology and Special Patient Care. Dr. Tarica furthered her post-graduate training at Maimonides Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in Brooklyn, NY. Her interest in treating children led her to pursue specialized training in pediatric dentistry at Maimonides and Kings County Hospital Center, allowing her to focus on unique dental needs of children and patients requiring special care. Dr. Tarica is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Tarica is passionate about helping children achieve healthy smiles. A self-proclaimed “kid at heart”, she strives to create a comfortable and fun experience while providing quality care.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Tarica likes to spend her time with her family. She enjoys traveling, cooking, playing video games, and board games.
